Caserío de Masca

El caserío es uno de los mayores encantos que encontramos dentro del Parque Rural de Teno.

Este siempre fue un rincón angosto y perdido, donde las carreteras eran simples caminos, pero gracias a ese olvido, se conserva como antaño, encontrando en la zona la arquitectura tradicional de Canarias: uso de mampostería y madera, sencillez conceptual y plena adaptación al entorno.

En la zona no solo es posible disfrutar de las vistas que ofrece, sino apreciar la conservación de las casas, haciendo un viaje en el tiempo y comiendo en los restaurantes y bares de la zona.

También podemos realizar los diferentes senderos que llegan y/o parten de la zona. Uno de los más famosos es el barranco de Masca. Hoy en día es necesario realizar una reserva previa y se tiene que descender y ascender el mismo. Partimos desde el Caserío y llegamos a la playa de Masca, dando aquí la vuelta de regreso de nuevo al caserío.

Hamlet of Masca

The farmhouse is one of the greatest charms that we find within the Teno Rural Park.

This was always a narrow and lost corner, where the roads were just paths, but thanks to this neglect, it is preserved as before, finding in the area the traditional architecture of the Canary Islands: the use of masonry and wood, conceptual simplicity and full adaptation to the environment.

In the area it is not only possible to enjoy the views that it offers, but also to appreciate the conversation of the houses, taking a trip back in the time and eating in the restaurants and bars in the area.

We can also carry out the different trails that arrive and/or depart from the area. One of the most famous is the Masca Ravine. Nowadays it is necessary to make a previous reservation and you have to descend and ascend the same. We start from the Caserío and arrive at the beach of Masca, turning back here again to the hamlet.
