¿Qué es un Guachinche?
Hoy en día esta muy extendida esta palabra y todos quieren ir a comer a uno; pero no todo lo que nos venden son Guachinches.
Los Guachinches son lugares tradicionales y familiares, suelen estar en salones o garajes, en lugares autóctonos de la isla.
Abren en tiempo determinado del año, esto es cuando tienen vino de su cosecha propia listo para vender, lo cual suele ser a partir de Octubre/ Noviembre y hasta Marzo / Abril.
En los Guachinches es importante el vino y no la comida (suelen poner 2- 3 platos para acompañar, no más), ya que no son restaurantes, hay una normativa que regula.
En la actualidad, suele denominar a los sitios de comida típica canaria como Guachinche, ya que es un nombre que tiene reclamo, al ser lugares donde poder comer una riquísima y sincera comida local a precios increíblemente baratos.
Los Guachinches auténticos los identificaras porque tienen una placa distintiva con una V en la puerta.
Pero bueno, lo más importante es que se disfrute de la comida típica de la zona: papas arrugadas, mojos, pescado salado, gofio….
