Hola, ya en post anteriores hemos hablado del Caletón, tanto en la parte de donde bañarse como en la historia de Garachico, pero por si no quedaba claro, las mismas se forman tras la erupción del Volcán Trevejo o de Arenas Negras de 1706.

Las coladas descendieron por la ladera llevándose por delante todo el pueblo (no hubo muertos).

El superviviente más famoso de la erupción fue el Castillo de San Miguel (que lo tenemos justo en frente) y que queda bien resguardado por las coladas que dan forma a las piscinas.

Hello, in previous posts we have talked about Caletón, both in the part where you can bathe and in the history of Garachico, but in case it was not clear, they were formed after the eruption of the Trevejo Volcano or Arenas Negras in 1706.

The flows came down the slope, taking the entire town with them (there were no deaths).
